This means that if you wanted to use a Custom HTML module, a 3rd party component that loaded the Joomla! article directly from the database, it would not work.
With the RSForm! Pro System Plugin, this limitation is lifted. It will work regardless of where the {rsform [number]} syntax is found.

The concept raised several issues; 1) how to deliver huge file sizes across the internet (most DVDs are about 4.2 GB in size) 2) how to convince the film producers that their work would be safe from copying by ‘pirates’ 3) where would the DVDs be sourced from, and 4) how the DVD digital products should be presented to the public on the internet.

(That’s the beauty of it.) Simply upload the image using Joomla!’s normal image upload function. Then grab the image and drag it to resize, or use the dialog box to specify a width for the image. When an article is accessed, the image resize plugin will find all the images in the article and resize them per the defined “width” attribute, caching the resized version. If there is no width attribute it will leave the image at its normal size. It only does this resizing the first time the image is accessed at any given width; after that it pulls the image from the already cached version. Then the plugin replaces the src attribute on the image tag with the URL for the resized version. Thus the user never sees the plugin, and the URLs still point straight to images instead of passing a size as a parameter, which could be a security flaw. So whenever you access the article from the front-end, any image will be scaled to exactly the size specified in the width attribute. When you access the article in the editor it still pulls the original image, not the resized version, so you can easily change the image’s size.

I use it in my school website to make the all the final grades available. For example, the user would choose the year, the level and the class he is in, and would download the required pdf file with the class grades. Furthermore, it has a full functional back office to create different document types, that will show in different web pages, and to upload several files at once. When creating the link, you will be able to choose the document type, the page title and if you want to show the downloads count for that document type. The files download count are also marked, but I don’t show them in the site front end, only in the administrator view. It requires PHP5.
